Skyline University College Hosted EUMMAS A2S Conference, Dubai 2023
The three-day conference from February 21-23, 2023, brought together academicians, industry experts, and administrators from 30 countries to share knowledge and scholarship on the theme of "Global Social and Technological Development and Sustainability."
On Day 1, the conference began with a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Mohammad In’airat, Vice Chancellor at the Skyline University College, which was followed by interaction and networking opportunities for the visitors, faculty members, and delegates. Innovation and Entrepreneurs Pitch, Young Researchers Competition, Plenary Session, and Research Seminar were also conducted on the first day.
On Day 2, the conference began with a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Mohammad In’airat, Vice-chancellor of Skyline University College, and Professor Dr. Mile Vasic, President and CEO of EUMMAS. The opening session was undertaken by distinguished guests such as H.E, Mr. Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, H.E. Mr. Ghanim Alfalasi, Sr. Vice President of Technology and Entrepreneurship, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and H.E Renato N. Duenas, Jr. Consul General Philippines. The Business and Public Administration Forum on the day engaged 14 professionals, academicians, and researchers, who addressed the emerging business needs related to global, social, and technological development and sustainability in higher education. A Business Workshop on the Customer Excellence Best Practices in the Post COVID Era was also delivered on this day.
On Day 3, the EUMMAS Women Forum President, Prof. Dr. Lidija Weis, Dean of the B2, Ljubljana School of Business, delivered the opening remarks. The three moderated Women Forum discussed the Role of Women in Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, and Society Development, Future Trends and Role of Academia in Workforce Building, and Role of Technology in Futuristic Society. The forums featured a dynamic group of women leaders from diverse backgrounds. The event was a reminder of the power of women's leadership and the importance of their contributions to building a sustainable future for all. Throughout the conference, cutting-edge research, innovative strategies, and best practices were shared, setting a new standard for excellence in interdisciplinary collaboration.

Recognitions for the best scientific conference papers were also awarded in the closing ceremony. The first prize was awarded to the paper titled ‘Effects of training and development on organizational performances in the CEE countries: Cranet 2021 project results by Nemanja Berber, Agneš Slavić, Dimitrije Gašić, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. The second prize was awarded to the paper titled Leadership style and motivation of care workers: the case of health networks in France Aline Courie, University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France Delphine François-Philip de Saint Julien, University of Versailles Saint Quentin-en-Yvelines, France.
