Skyline University College was awarded with the Strategic Partnership Award during the Second Annual Forum for Absher Initiative Strategic Partners event held today, February 21, 2018 at Grand Hyatt Hotel, Dubai. H.E. Maher Al Obbad, Assistant Deputy Minister of Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation along with Ms. Fatima Al Mulla, Director of Absher Initiative have presented the award to Deputy Director for Public Relations, Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa on behalf of SUC.
The General Commander of Sharjah Police, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi has awarded Skyline University College with the Strategic Partnership Award in recognition of the fruitful relationship and various collaborations of both organizations for the betterment of the society and its people. The award was given during the Sharjah Police Strategic Partners Forum event organized by Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) held today, February 19 2018. Deputy Director for Public Relations, Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa received the award on behalf of SUC in the presence of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Chairman, H.E Abdallah Sultan Al Owais.

SUC Executive Director and COEC Mr. Nitin Anand has met with Hon. Sri Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, India at the Dubai Roadshow for Partnership Summit 2018 today, February 8, 2018 to present the business and investment opportunities of Skyline Group in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. The COEC along with Deputy Director for Marketing and Creative Communications, Mr. Rakesh Gaur and Head of Academics-School of IT, Dr. Deepak Kalra have presented the Skyline Coffee Table Book to the Chief Minister to introduce Skyline and to serve as a reference of the institution’s achievements and milestones over the past 28 years.
As part of strengthening Skyline University College’s corporate social responsibility (CSR), Executive Director and COEC Mr. Nitin Anand along with Deputy Director for Public Relations Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa held a meeting with Birg. Ali Mohd Al Shamali, Director of General Department of Correctional Institutions and the team today, February 7, 2018 to discuss future collaborations.
The COEC has introduced the training programs that can be conducted for the inmates. The training program will serve as an opportunity for them to rebuild their lives as better citizens of the society. Additionally, a scholarship fund to the employees of the Correctional Institution was also discussed to support their further studies and professional development.
SUC in Nigeria: Skyline University College Executive Director and COEC Mr. Nitin Anand, on his strategic visit to Nigeria, held a meeting with Barrister Abdur-Raheem Adebayu Shittu, Honorable Minister of Communication, Federal Republic of Nigeria on January 30, 2018 to introduce the projects and initiatives of Skyline Group in the country as well as to seek his support for the upcoming plans and developments.
The Consulate General of India was declared the new champion of the 2nd Diplomat Cricket Championship Cup held yesterday, January 20, 2018, at Skyline University College cricket ground.

Following the successful first edition, Skyline University College is once again organizing the 2nd Diplomat Cricket Championship Cup under the patronage of Consulate General of India and co hosted by Consulate General of Bangladesh being the winner of the first edition.
Skyline University College has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jaipuria Institute Management on December 11, 2017 in Noida, India. SUC Dean Dr. Amitabh Upadhya and Jaipuria Institute Management Vice-Chairman Mr. Shreeva Jaipuria signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Both parties have agreed to collaborate on several areas of cooperation such as Faculty Exchanges, Student Exchange, Collaborative Projects, Scholarships, Information Exchange, Conferences, and Program Reviews.
Also present during the signing ceremony were Jaipuria Institute Management Dean of International Relations Dr. Poonam Sharma.
The MoU was successfully coordinated by SUC Corporate Affairs Office headed by Mr. Pawan Bhatia.

The SUC Corporate Affairs Office (CAO) is responsible for building long term relationships with corporate establishments for the purpose of integrating the academics and industry for mutual benefit including placements and internships, Guest Lecture and Technical Visits, Scholarships for company employees, and participation in MDPs and Conferences. Skyline University College held its 5th Edition of Skyline Carnival on December 1, 2017 at Skyline Campus in University City of Sharjah. SUC Founder President Mr. Kamal Puri welcomed the Chief Guest of the event, Mr. Mohammed Diab Al Musa, Education Advisor of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah for the event inauguration and UAE 46th National Day celebration. Balloons in colors red, green, white, and black were released as a symbol of support to the country and to the leaders of the UAE.
Mr. Mohammed along with Mr. Puri and other VIPs visited the country stalls in the Skyline Carnival and joined in the fun as they rounded each stall with unique offerings.
As the night took off, the crowd witnessed breathtaking performances of various universities in competitions such as Eastern Dance, Western Dance, Duet Singing, and Fashion Show. After the competition, the most anticipated part of the event, a live concert by Pakistan’s Coke Studio Sensation, Umair Jaswal and a performance by a budding UAE artist, Mustafa Khan took place. The winners of the competition were announced thereafter.
Skyline Carnival is a youth-oriented talent festival showcasing various entertainment competitions, which are participated in by various universities in the UAE. Skyline Carnival also aims to bring together in one place the rich cultures and traditions of different countries.
