It’s the first day of the fall semester! Skyline’s hallways are once again filled with excited students — collecting their kits, keeping up with friends, and talking with their professors.

Skyline University College (SUC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government of the emirate of Umm Al Quwain (UAQ) on August 14, 2018. HE Humaid Rashed Al Shamsi, the Secretary-General of the Executive Council of UAQ and Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa, the SUC Deputy Director for Public Relations signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

Skyline University College (SUC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities on July 25, 2018 in Abu Dhabi. SUC Deputy Director for Public Relations, Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa and Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities Undersecretary, HE Mubarak Obaid Khamis Abdullah Al Daheri signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Also present to witness the signing ceremony was SUC Professor, Dr. Nizar Sahawneh.

As part of its annual activities, SUC Services Committee headed by Dr. Taleb Bilal Eli has organized a Drug Awareness Seminar on July 18, 2018 at SUC Campus. The seminar served as an important reminder to the students about the harmful effects of prohibited drugs as well as the regulations and actions of the UAE government to fight drug use and addiction. The speaker of the seminar was First Sergeant, Mr. Khalid Noor Mohammed from Sharjah Police Department.

Skyline University College has organized the One Day Refresher Course in Management with Emphasis on Block Chain Technology and E-Marketing/Pocket MBA on July 18, 2018 at SUC Campus. Participants from various corporates, consulates, and government offices had the opportunity to get insights from SUC Head of Academics-School of IT, Dr. Deepak Kalra and SUC Associate Professors, Dr. Anil Roy Dubey and Dr. J. Shanmugan on Block Chain Technology and E-Marketing.

 At the end of the program, the participants received their certificates for successfully completing the Pocket MBA. The certificates were distributed by SUC head of Academics-School of Business, Dr.Ajith Kumar along with the resource speakers of the event.

The summer semester at Skyline University College has witnessed the faculty and staff relishing the remaining days of the academic year on a week of sports activities during the Skyline Staff Sports Festival organized by Skyline Sports Department from July 15-18, 2018.

As part of the of Business Ethics Course under the class of Skyline University College Assistant Professor, Dr. Kakul Agha, 26 students conducted a Poster Exhibition on July 16, 2018 on an interesting topic of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at SUC Campus.

On an unforgettable night of the Senior Farewell Party, the whole Skyline community sends off the seniors as they count their remaining days as students, and finally bid their farewells to the university. The students gathered at the Multi-Purpose Hall and the venue was immediately filled with mixed emotions, reminiscing good memories and the life-changing experience of their higher education. 

Skyline University College has received an accolade from the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces in recognition of its contribution and active role in supporting the Homat Al Watan Card launched for the benefit of the employees of the UAE Ministry of Defense.

The participants of the SCTDA Tour Guide Training Program have successfully completed the 6-day course conducted by Skyline University College from June 24, 2018 to July 1, 2018 at SUC Campus.

Skyline University College has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Leyte Normal University (LNU), Philippines on July 5, 2018. The MoU was signed by SUC Dean, Dr. Mohammad In’airat and LNU University President, Dr. Jude A. Duarte on behalf of their respective organizations. Present to witness the signing ceremony were SUC Deputy Director and Head of Marketing and Creative Communication, Mr. Rakesh Gaur and LNU External Linkages Director, Dr. Marietta B. Manaog.

Skyline University College welcomed the honorable presence of Philippine Consulate General of Dubai Consul General, H.E. Paul Raymond Cortes along with the delegates from Leyte Normal University, Philippines headed by the University President, Dr. Jude A Duarte on July 3, 2018 at SUC Campus.
