Dr. Mohammad Abdul Salam has a wide range of exposures in his professional career from the various industry and academic arena. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics in 1989, and completed his Master of Computer applications in 1994. He also acquired a diploma in Oracle and E-commerce from the University of Toronto, Canada. His Ph.D. thesis was on "Cloud Computing Challenges and Issues in the year 2015.” Currently, he is pursuing research in machine learning and optimization of algorithm used in sentiment analysis.
With over two decades of teaching experience in the UAE and Canada, coupled with the industry experience of working with Royal Bank of Canada as technical systems analyst. Dr Abdul Salam, during his engagements at RBC, worked with IBM Web sphere Transformation Extender and liaise with software giants Infosys and Wipro on J2EE off shore projects in wealth management of RBC.
His teaching career started in 1995 and he is currently teaching Information Systems courses. He believes in student-centric learning approach, which creates a conducive learning environment to enable students to take up successful career.
