EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Prof. Gouher Ahmed holds Ph.D. and MMS degrees in Management. MELR/MAIR degree in HR and Leadership from Wayne State University, USA, and he is also a Certified PMP-PMI, from the USA.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Prof. Ahmed has over 25 years of experience in various academic leadership, social and business settings, and consulting through North America, South Asia, and the Middle East. He has organized global conferences in different continents. Prof. Ahmed is a Board Member and Director of the Academy of Global Business Research & Practice, USA. He is an Advisor to the Government of Dubai, EIAC, and also Dubai Congress Ambassador, Government of Dubai, UAE.

ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH INTEREST 

He has around 200 peer-review research publications in world-class journals, conference proceedings, chapters in books, book reviews, and Forbes, Entrepreneur, and others. He has also presented around 100 research presentations in international conferences worldwide including keynote speeches on contemporary business issues. He has received over 70 honors and awards. Prof. Gouher Ahmed’s teaching, research and publications are focused on international business, emerging markets, innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, business excellence, project management and others. He is also the Editor of SCOPUS Journals.
