SUC Signs an MOU with the University of KwaZulu Natal

 Skyline University College signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN), South Africa, which is included in the top 400 universities in the World Ranking, on June 8, 2021. The MOU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of SUC, Ms. Normah Zondo, Executive Director (Acting) of Corporate Relations of UKZN, and Dr. Tasmeera Singh, Principal International Advisor of Corporate Relations of UKZN, in the presence of the deans and executives of both academic institutions. This Initiative is a part of Corporate Affairs office Academic Linkages and Articulation Process.

The MOU entails several areas of cooperation including exchange programs, short-term programs, research and publication, joint seminars, conferences, and other scientific events, among others.

SUC Signs an MOU with Dhiman Global, LLC

Skyline University College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dhiman Global, LLC on May 31, 2021. Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of SUC, and Ms. Amanpreet, the Managing Director of Dhiman Global, LLC, signed the MOU which was witnessed by the executives of SUC and Dhiman Global.

The MOU entails the scholarships that SUC will provide to the employees of Dhiman and their families. It also includes the possibility of workshops for the employees of Dhiman, as well as future collaborations in placement and internships for SUC Students.

SUC Renews its Partnership with NETS International

Skyline University College renewed its partnership with NETS International, which was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony on May 31, 2021. Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of SUC, and Dr. Ramamurthy Venkatesh, the CEO of Nets International, signed the MOU on May 31, 2021, in the presence of the deans and executives of Skyline and the executives of Nets International.

The MOU entails the scholarships that SUC will provide to the employees of NETS International and their families, possible workshops, as well as future collaborations in placement and internships for the SUC students.

Consulate General of India - Skyline: Up-skilling and Re-skilling of Blue-Collar Indian Workers

The Consulate General of India in Dubai, in collaboration with Skyline University College (SUC) and Indian Association Sharjah, is organizing a program on June 8 and 9, 2021 for Indian blue-collar workers in the UAE to up-skill and re-skill them so they can acquire relevant competencies needed in today’s industries and the future.

 The program titled “Attitude and Mindset” is designed to teach 245 employees of Sharjah Indian School, mainly drivers and aaya’s (caretakers), the ways to improve attitude and behavior to ensure effectiveness on the job, and give them the techniques to improve their relationships, particularly in the workplace. SUC faculty member, Dr. Kakul Agha, is conducting the training sessions at the Sharjah Indian School Auditorium. 

Consulate General of India in Dubai and Skyline University College will be jointly conducting more “Upskilling and Reskilling” programs for Indian blue-collar workers employed in various companies based in the UAE and these programs will aim to improve various skills including technical, soft, and language skills. Through this initiative, the Consulate General of India in Dubai aims to provide career growth opportunities to the Indian blue-collar employees in UAE.

The inauguration ceremony was held at Skyline University College on 8th June 2021 which was attended by various dignitaries. 

Mr. Nitin Anand, the Vice-Chairman of SUC and the Chair of its Executive Council delivered the welcome note where he emphasized the importance of up-skilling and re-skilling of employees in whatever level or position.  

Mr. EP Johnson, President of Indian Association Sharjah, in his introductory speech, noted how the program address what society is facing now and he also emphasized how SUC has become a partner of the Indian Association Sharjah with this initiative.

H.E. Dr. Aman Puri, Consul General of India in Dubai, delivered the keynote address where he stated the importance of adapting and adjusting to the impact brought about by the pandemic; Hence, the conceptualization of up-skilling and reskilling of employees initiative.

In his vote of thanks, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad In’airat, Vice Chancellor of Skyline University, thanked the guests and everyone who contributed to organize the program; he particularly extended his gratitude to the participants for their initiative in joining the training.

The ceremony was concluded with Mr. Anand making an announcement that Skyline University College will grant 100% scholarships to two blue-collar employees (one male and one female) each academic year.

Skyline University College has been conducting training workshops, and other activities in the communities and organizations outside the university to realize its Founder-Chairman Mr. Kamal Puri’s vision of making education an instrument of making a difference in society.

SUC Signs an MOU with Align Manpower, LLC

Skyline University College signed a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Align Manpower, LLC. Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of SUC and Mr. Atul Sinha, the Co-Founder and CEO of Align, signed the MOU on May 30, 2021, in the presence of the deans of Skyline and the executives of Skyline and Align.

 The MOU entails the scholarships that SUC will provide to the employees of Align and their families, as well as future collaborations in workshops and training.

SUC Signs an MOU with Ljubljana School of Business

Skyline University College (SUC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ljubljana School of Business (LSB), Slovenia. SUC Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad In’airat and LSB Dean, Dr. Lidija Weis, signed the MOU through a virtual signing ceremony held on May 19, 2021.

The MOU entails future academic collaboration between the two academic institutions, particularly in the areas of research and education. It also includes the possibility of student and faculty exchange programs. 

SUC Signs an MOU with Ajman Private School

Skyline University College entered an MOU with Ajman Private School made official through a signing ceremony on May 6, 2021. The MOU was signed by Mr. Ali Ababneh, Marketing Supervisor at SUC, and Mr Ahmed Badawi Mahmoud, Ajman Private School’s principal.

 The MoU entails scholarships for the students of Ajman Private School so they can pursue their higher education. It also includes career guidance workshops for the students and also workshops for the staff and teachers.

SUC Signs an MOU with Noor Takaful A Dar Al Takaful Company

Skyline University College entered an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Noor Takaful A Dar Al Takaful Company on April 18, 2021, made official through a signing ceremony. Mr. Rakesh Gaur, the Director of SUC’s Marketing and Communications, and Ms. Ahlam Samara, the Vice President of Human Resource and Administration of Noor Takaful A Dar AL Takaful Company, signed the MOU with Mr. Muhammad Rasheed Khalid, the Head of the Corporate Affairs Office, as a witness.

 The MOU highlights the scholarship that SUC will provide to the employees of Noor Takaful and their families, as well as the possibilities of short courses and workshops for the employees. The MOU also entails placement and internship opportunities for Skyline students.

 

SUC Signs an MOU with Business & Technology University

 Skyline University College entered an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Business & Technology University (BTU), Georgia, on April 21, 2021, which was made official through a virtual signing ceremony ,Prof. Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of SUC, and Prof. Dr. Nino Enukidze, Rector of BTU, signed the MOU. The virtual signing ceremony ws attended by the executives of the two institutions.

The MOU entails the joint collaboration for short courses, lectures, and conferences for both institutions. It also expands the horizon of partnership to student exchange, faculty exchange, research collaboration.

SUC Signs an MOU with Kaykroo

Skyline University College (SUC) entered a partnership with Kaykroo, a UAE-based food tech company with a network of Cloud Kitchens and various home-grown food brands on April 25, 2021. Mr. Nitin Anand, Vice Chairman of Skyline University College & Chair of its Executive Council, and Mr. Jihad El Eit, CEO of Kaykroo, signed the MOU in a ceremony witnessed by the Vice-Chancellor of Skyline University College (SUC), Prof. (Dr. Mohammad In’airat, Director of Marketing and Communications, Mr. Rakesh Gaur, Director of Learning Resources, Dr. Deepak Kalra, and Training Manager from Kaykroo, Mr. Waleed El Sayed.  

Through this partnership, Skyline University College has become Kaykroo’s academic and knowledge partner. The MOU entails collaborations between the two organizations, particularly in training, soft skills development programs, and webinars to be conducted for Cloud Kitchen through SUC’s Centre for Continuing Learning (CCL) and Future Digital Academy which is a part of Skyline International Group Limited not only for the employees of Kaykroo but also for individuals keen to embark on their careers in the hospitality sector.

 

SUC Signs an MOU with AIESEC in UAE

Skyline University College has formed a partnership with AIESEC in UAE, which was made official by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on April 6, 2021. Mr. Mohammed Muneer Abobakr Lajam, Vice President for Global Volunteer Program & Accounting of AIESEC in UAE and Prof,. Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of SUC, signed the MOU. Dr. Naseem Abidi, Dean-School of Business, Mr. Mohammad Rasheed Khalid, Head of the Corporate Affairs Office, and Dr. Paul Katuse, Associate Professor, attended the signing ceremony.

The MOU entails the global exchange programs, internships, placement of young graduates, and other key areas of collaborations.

SUC Signs an MOU with Al Resalah American International School of the Athena Education Group

Skyline University College (SUC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Al Resalah American International School of the Athena Education Group, on April 5, 2021. Mr. Mohannad Al Jayousi, the School Principal, and Mr. Rakesh Gaur, SUC Director of Marketing and Communications, signed the MOU. Dr. Deepak Kalra, Director of Learning Resources, and Mr. Mohammad Rasheed Khalid, Head of Corporate Affairs Office witnessed the signing.

The MOU entails the scholarships for the students of Al Resalah American International School and also covers the career guidance workshops that Skyline will organize for the students, as well as for the teachers and staff.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mohammad In’airat received the prestigious QS Stars Award for SUC during the QS Stars Ceremony

SUC Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mohammad In’airat received the prestigious QS Stars Award during the QS Stars Ceremony held at The Raffles Hotel, Dubai on March 25, 2021. The event was part of the three-day virtual QS Maple 2021 Excellence Roundtables, which brought together experts from throughout the regions and beyond for keynotes, debates, panel discussions, and case studies.

Skyline University College was awarded by QS Stars in recognition of the quality of its teaching and learning environment. It has been awarded 5 stars in the categories of Teaching and Employability, and 4 stars in Academic Development and Facilities.
