Misconduct in research and publication includes but is not limited to, falsification, fabrication, plagiarism, unethical experimentation, breach of confidentiality, and manipulation of citations.

To uphold the integrity of scholarly publishing by addressing misconduct claims in research and publication. It applies to authors, reviewers, editors, and stakeholders involved in the publication process.

 

Procedure:

Initial Assessment: The Editor-in-Chief conducts a preliminary review to determine if a full investigation is warranted.
Investigation: If necessary, a confidential investigation is conducted, possibly involving an independent committee.
Outcome: Based on the investigation's findings, appropriate actions such as corrections, retractions, or sanctions may be taken.
Appeals: Decisions can be appealed by submitting a written statement to the Editor-in-Chief within 30 days.
Confidentiality: All proceedings are confidential to protect the rights of all parties involved.
