Skyline University College aims to impart knowledge to the community outside of the university by conducting training and workshops to various organizations. Recently, faculty members Dr. Beenu Mago and Dr. John Senior conducted Teachers' Training sessions at Providence English School, Sharjah, with 45 teacher participants.
Dr. Mago spoke about emerging technologies and Dr. Senior talked about the technology to supplement teaching.

Skyline University College regularly organizes a Guest Lecture, which is a platform for students to get insights from professionals and industry leaders so they can prepare well for the professional world.
On June 25, 2019, Mr. Evren Altiok, Head of Strategy, CBI (Commercial Bank International), delivered a lecture to the students of Dr. Ajith Kumar's Strategic Leadership class. Mr. Altiok gave an engaging talk on “Leadership.” According to him, in leadership, it is important to build trust with others by applying high ethical and moral standards, and promote honesty and integrity in the organization.
In a certificate distribution ceremony on June 25, 2019, BSIT students were awarded certificates for completing the Entrepreneurship Course and Cybersecurity Essentials under the learning partnership program with CISCO, Blockchain Essentials under the learning partnership program with IBM, Java Foundation Course under the learning partnership program with Oracle, and Introduction to R under the learning partnership program with Data Camp. Mr. Ahmed Elkabbany, General Manager – Corporate Affairs of CISCO ME, graced the event.

INJAZ delivers experiential volunteer based programs in Work Readiness, Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy to the youth. On June 24, 2019, in partnership with AI Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB), an INJAZ workshop on “Personal Finance” was organized by the Teaching Effectiveness Committee (TEC), headed by Dr. Sakthivel A.M., to give students the knowledge and skills they need to plan for their professional development and help them make smart academic and economic choices.
Skyline University College organized a 2-day workshop on “Careers Choice” and “Emotional Intelligence” for Students of Radiant School on June 23 and June 24, 2019.
Faculty members and academic support members encourage the students to work hard for their dreams. They also shared inspiring stories and valuable tips that can help the students plan their future.

Skyline University College conducted a fire drill to demonstrate the readiness of an emergency response plan on May 28, 2019. The students, faculty, and staff were lead to the fire exits of the building and instructed in the proper use of fire safety equipment.

During the 10th Alumni Lecture, Ms. Nour Al Moukaden (batch 2011), Business Development Director, gave an insightful discussion on passion and how it can guide you to achieve success. Skyline’s Alumni Lecture Series is a platform for Skyliners who are now working in various sectors to share their perspectives and experiences of the professional world.

To celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, Skyline University College organized Iftar for its employees, alumni, students, and parents on May 22, 2019. Guests of different nationalities and religions gathered together and share a sumptuous dinner. Holding Iftar at the campus is a yearly tradition at Skyline as a way for the management to show its appreciation to its employees, alumni, students and their parents and also to strengthen the spirit of giving and sharing in Skyline community.
The Hilton Group recently held a career guidance activity at Skyline campus. Students learned the techniques of writing an effective resume at the resume building workshop conducted by the group. They also learned some tips on how to make a great impression during job interviews.
This career guidance activity is regularly organized by Skyline Corporate Affairs Office, headed by Mr. Mohammad Rasheed Khalid, as part of Skyline’s goal of giving students full support during their career planning and placement preparation. Skyline invites professionals from various industries for these workshops so students are exposed to various perspectives and strategies that can prepare them for the corporate world.

This Year of Tolerance, Skyline University , through its Services Committee headed by Dr. Taleb Eli, organized an Iftar for Sharjah laborers. The laborers along with SUC students, faculty, and staff shared a hearty meal. The employees and students also distributed goodie bags to the laborers.
Employees and students of Skyline from diverse nationality and religion worked together to organize the event, reflecting the values emphasized by the UAE government in the Year of Tolerance. Annually, Skyline organizes Iftar as part of its CSR initiatives.
In the spirit of Ramadan and as part of its CSR initiatives, Skyline University College is organizing its annual Iftar for laborers this evening. Skyline Services Committee, headed by Dr. Taleb Eli, are now preparing the goodie bags from students, faculty, and staff for this evening’s event.
To enhance students’ abilities and skills, and to prepare them for the professional world, the faculty of Skyline University Colleges lets students organize activities and seminars. Recently, the students taking Human Resource Management course under Dr. Mona Sinha were given an opportunity to organize an HR seminar.
The activities commenced with an inspirational talk delivered by the Head of Academics for the School of Business, Dr. Ajith Kumar. Faculty members Ms. Owen Sanchez and Dr. Hesham Sheikh shared their insights, knowledge, and first-hand experiences in Re-Engineering Approach on Human Resource Management. The students also learned the trends and the latest news about HR and how it becomes a strategic partner to any business. Dr. Sharon Mendoza guided the students throughout the seminar.
According to the students, they learned a lot from the seminar. “It was a very great experience for us and we got to learn much during this seminar and a big thank you to our professors and to Skyline University College for believing in us and giving us the opportunity to organize an event,” says Skyliner Abida.
