Skyline University College (SUC) takes pride in joining hands with Toastmasters International (TM) to develop the soft skills of the students in professional grooming. The Toastmasters Club Freshmen Orientation was conducted on October 1, 2017, at SUC Multi-Purpose Hall mainly to introduce the club and its importance in developing the skills and potentials of SUC students. SUC Toastmasters Club is grateful for DTM Balaji Nagabhushan and his team for this collaboration.
The collaboration falls under PSDP (Professional Skills Development Program) which is SUC’s unique initiative to develop students’ professional skills in a methodical way. Toastmasters International is a renowned non-profit, global organization, known for transforming its members’ personality through sharpening their communication and presentation skills.

Skyline University College celebrated Nigerian Independence Day October 1, 2017, at SUC Multi-Purpose Hall. The SUC Nigerian community of students, faculty and staff filled the hall with their proudest smiles as they danced and sang to the tune of their songs. A moment to reflect on occasion created a moving nationalistic atmosphere among the crowd.

A General Courses Guest Lecture was conducted to sophomore students taking up Introduction to Humanities under the class of Dr. Taleb Eli, last September 27th 2017. Invited guest lecturer, Ms. Daawy Tayeb is an Emirati Writer who has written a good number of short stories and the author of “From the Capital with Love.” Ms. Daawy talked about “Creativity through Fiction Writing” in her lecture where students learned some techniques and styles of writing.
The guest lecture was organized by SUC faculty Dr. Taleb Eli.
