Skyline Signs an MOU with the Sonaa Al Ghad Private School

Skyline University College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sonaa Al Ghad Private School on February 9, 2022. The MOU entails the scholarships that SUC will offer to the students. It also covers the workshops that SUC might conduct for the students and employees of the school.

 

SUC Celebrated Rose Day

Skyliners celebrated Rose Day with roses and fun activities! During the event, the Student Services Department announced the winners of the Rose Day competition.

Skyliners Alreem Khalifa and Abdulelah Ayman won the trophy, certificate, and gift voucher with their bouquet of roses made from velvet. Skyliner Hanin Fawaz Ghafour was declared the runner-up.

SUC Organized the 6th Diplomat Cricket Cup 2022

The Consulate of the USA is the champion of  the 6th Diplomat Cricket Cup held at SUC Cricket Ground from February 5 to 6, 2022. The USA Consulate team  won against the Consulate of Bangladesh by 21 runs in the finals.

The Diplomat Cricket Championship was organized under the patronage of the Consul General of India in Dubai. The 6th edition of the Diplomat Cricket Cup aimed at strengthening cooperation and cultivating relations among dignitaries in the UAE.

Skyline University College congratulates the winners, and expresses its gratitude to the participating consulates for the excellent matches and wishes them luck in next year’s championship: the Consulate General of India, Consulate General of Sri Lanka, Consulate General of USA, Consulate General of Bangladesh, Consulate General of Pakistan, Consulate General of Afghanistan and Consulate General of South Africa.

 


 

SUC Signs an MOU with Wesgreen International School

Skyline University College (SUC) signs an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Wesgreen International School on February 3, 2022. Mr. Jonathan Dey, Principal, Wesgreen International School, and Mr. Ali Ababneh, Marketing Supervisor at SUC, signed the MOU.

The MOU highlights the scholarships that SUC will offer to the students as well as the workshops that SUC might conduct for the students and employees of the school and other possible area of collaboration including community services activities.

 

SUC Conducted a Drug Awareness Seminar

Skyline University College organized a Drug Awareness seminar for the students on February 2, 2022, at SUC Multi-Purpose Hall.

This seminar is part of SUC’s annual drug awareness programs organized for the students with the purpose of educating them about the dangers of drug abuse. The speakers were First Sergeant Khaled Al Mansour and First Sergeant Hend Mohammed Al Nuaimi of the Awareness and Rehabilitation section of the Sharjah Police Department, with First Sergeant Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Ali in attendance. Dr. Ali Thawabeh, Dean of Student Affairs, along with Dr. Mohammed Abdul Salam, Head of General Education, and Mr. Omar Sattar, faculty member, awarded the memento of appreciation to the speakers.

Skyline University College, as part of its goal of improving society through education, has been organizing drug awareness seminars regularly. During these seminars, speakers from the Awareness and Rehabilitation section of Sharjah Police talk about the negative impact of drug abuse on individuals, families, and communities.

Skyline University College (SUC) renewed its partnership with Taryam American Private School made official through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing on February 3, 2022. The MOU was signed by - Principal, Dr. Raed Abdulla, School Principal, and Mr. Bilal Banat, SUC’s Assistant Manager for Business Development.

The MOU entails the scholarships that SUC will offer to the students. It also covers the workshops that SUC might conduct for the students and employees of the school.

Skyline University College (SUC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Al-Maarifa International Private School (MIS) on February 3, 2022. The representative of the owners Sheikh Saeed Al Qasimi, Mr. Samer Serhan, School Principal, and Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa, SUC Deputy Director for Public and Government Relations, signed the MOU in the presence of and Ms. Manal Marei, Head of Academics of MIS, and Mr. Bilal Banat, SUC’s Assistant Manager for Business Development.

Skyline University College (SUC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the First Academy School, Ajman on January 31, 2022. Dr. Sobhi Abu Hatab, Vice Principal, and Mr. Ali Ababneh, Marketing Supervisor at SUC, signed the MOU.

The MOU highlights the scholarships that SUC will offer to the students as well as the workshops that SUC might conduct for the students and employees of the school.

 

SUC Executives’ Meeting with the Executives of Old Emirates Association

Prof. Mohammad In’airat, Vice-Chancellor of Skyline University College (SUC), Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa, Deputy Director for Public and Government Relations, Dr. Deepak Kalra, the Associate MBA Dean, and Mr. Zaydoon Al Hatamleh, Training Manager, met with the executives of Emirates Association for Retired Citizens— Mr. Obaid Haded, the CEO, Mrs. Aysha Al Mouazen, the executive secretary, and Mrs. Aysha Al Kamaly, associated member on January 27, 2022, at SUC campus. The Emirates Association for Retired Citizens’ executives briefed SUC executives about the association and its main roles to its members and their families. In turn, SUC discussed various areas of collaboration in terms of academics and scholarships, workshops, and training programs that will benefit the members of the Association and their families.

SUC continues to strengthen its government alliances to reach its goal of delivering quality education in the MENA region.

SUC Signs an MOU with POC

Skyline University College (SUC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Pakistan Overseas Community (POC) on January 25, 2022, at the SUC campus. SUC Vice-Chancellor, Mohammad In’airat, and POC Chairman, Mian Tariq Javed, signed the MOU in the presence of the executives of both parties.

The MOU entails the scholarships that SUC will offer to the employees of POC, as well as to their family members. It also includes the workshops that SUC might conduct for the employees of POC.

 

SUC Conducts a Training Program for Sharjah HR Department

The Center for Continuing Learning of Skyline University College (SUC) conducted a training program for Human Resource Department  of the Government of Sharjah titled “Accounting Framework.” The virtual sessions were delivered by faculty member Prof. Nizar Sahawneh through MS-Teams from January 10 to 13, 2022.

The course, which amounted to 12 training hours, highlighted various topics that include, but not limited to, the definitions of various concepts in financial accounting, sources of demand, the objectives of accounting and its main functions, identifying the branches of accounting, classifications of accounting information users and their needs, identifying the divisions of business establishments according to their legal form, using accounting principles and assumptions, applying accounting equations, and understanding accounting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

SUC’s Founder-Chairman at the India Global Forum

In the panel discussion titled “Byteing the Learning Curve,” which happened during the India Global Forum on December 13, 2021 at Taj Dubai, Mr. Kamal Puri, Founder-Chairman of Skyline University College and Chairman of Skyline International Group, Ltd., spoke about the reasons why Indian students go to the UAE to pursue higher education. He also talked about the synergies in the education space where the UAE and India can collaborate further.
