Horouf Reggio Conference Award
In line with the institutional goal “to continue to serve with dedication in the field of higher education to meet the changing needs of the society and develop responsible individuals without discrimination following ethical practices,” Skyline University College Executive Director Mr. Nitin Anand is always at the front to align with the Sharjah Government initiatives to promote the education in the UAE and in the region. Appreciating his zeal and passion for promotion of cause, H.E. Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Founder and CEO of the Kalimat Group and Chairperson of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, has recognized the COEC’s effort and support with an award at the Horouf Reggio Conference on March 6-8, 2018 in Al Qasba, Sharjah. The Horouf Reggio Conference with the theme, “Make Learning Visible” was organized by Horouf, a subsidiary of Kalimat Group and was also attended by H.E. Marwan Ahmad Al Sawaleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Education for Academic Affairs. The conference aimed at providing the educators in the UAE and in the region an opportunity to explore the “Reggio Emilia Approach” to education. The SUC team who attended the conference along with the COEC were: Deputy Director for Public Relations, Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa; Associate Professor, Dr. Anil Roy Dubey; Associate Professor, Dr. J. Shanmugan; and Assistant Professor Dr. Sharon Mendoza-Dreisbach.
