Skyline University College Services Committee in collaboration with Emirates Driving Institute (EDI) is conducting a Road Safety Campaign tomorrow, January 12, 2017 to all SUC students, faculty and staff. The training aims to give further education in road regulations by means of different exhibits and demonstrations. Skyline University College Founder and President, Mr. Kamal Puri was the recipient of this year’s Education Innovation Award last night, December 13, 2016, at Entrepreneur Middle East’s Indian Innovator Awards 2016 in St. Regis, Dubai. Mr. Kamal Puri’s 26 years of experience as an educator and a true catalyst for quality education has marked a respectable image across the region. Mr. Puri stood as an inspiration to many of his spectators and a living proof that dedication and hard work play a great role in one’s success.
Skyline University College Founder and President Mr. Kamal Puri was one of the awardees at the NDTV Gulf Indian Excellence Awards 2016 last night, December 11, 2016, at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights. Mr. Kamal Puri was recognized for his exemplary contribution to the society through an institution that continues to provide quality education across the region for 26 years that is SUC.
The Skyline University College Innovation Projects Exhibition happened yesterday, December 6, 2016 at SUC Multi-Purpose Hall served as a venue to highlight the students’ innovation skills as they presented potential products and services that will change the lifestyle of the future generation. Students came up with out-of-the-box ideas that mainly aim to improve existing gadgets and services of today. The Innovation Projects Exhibition was under the class of Innovation Course professors, Dr. Ajith Kumar and Dr. Kakul Agha.
Skyline University College participated in Al Manzil Carnival today, December 7, 2016, an event organized by Al Manzil, Sharjah to create awareness about children with special needs and raise funds for their benefit. Along with SUC Associate Professor, Dr. Mohit Vij was students from SUC Dance Club, Sherin, Fatima, Jewel and Ahmad who presented a scintillating dance performance for a little entertainment for the children.
Skyline University College (SUC) Services Committee organized the Sharjah Drivers Training today, December 7, 2016 at SUC campus. Speakers of the training were Associate Professor, Dr Mohit Vij and Assistant Professor, Dr. Victoria Verna. Dr. Mohit discussed the importance of tourism in the UAE particularly in Sharjah and the personal habits that greatly influence their job on the road. Dr. Victoria provided some Basic English communication knowledge to the participants in order for them to communicate effectively with their passengers. Attendees attentively listened and learned from the speakers and wrote notes in between.
This community service training is an initiative of SUC Services Committee headed by Dr. Mohammad Abdul Salam and Dr. Mahesh Agnihotri.
Skyline University College Center for Professional Development (CPD) department awarded certificates to their students who successfully completed the courses of CTH Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management, CTH Diploma/Certificate in Events Management, CTH Airline Customer Service, and CTH Basic Ramp Handling yesterday, December 4, 2016. SUC Travel and Tourism Associate Professor, Dr. Mohit Vij and CPD department Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Dr. Ajith Kumar presented the certificates on behalf of SUC. Congratulations to our short-courses program graduates!
The 3rd “Let’s Talk” Counselor Workshop 2016 happened today, November 28, 2016 was participated in by more than 80 counselors from various schools in the UAE. The speakers of the event were SUC Associate Professor Dr. Mohit Vij, Arabian Wellness & Lifestyle Management LLC Director Professor Adrian Kennedy, and LifeWorks Personal Development Trainers Dr. Lavina Ahuja and Dr. Shankar S. Kuchibatla. The speakers addressed the topics of Self-Doubt and Negative Thinking and School Health Programs.

More than 30 companies were present today to source out future employees including Emirates Islamic Bank, Mashreq Bank, Air Arabia, DU, Interns Me, BAYT, Nielsen, CISCO, Auras Tours, and many more. SUC Dean, Dr. Amitabh Upadhya awarded certificates of participation to all companies who took part in the event. The SUC Job Fair 2016 is under the initiative of SUC Corporate Affairs Office headed by Mr. Mohammad Rasheed Khalid
The 8th Skyline Inter-School Sports Festival 2016 kicked-off today at Skyline University College. Every Teams came prepared with energized mood as they excitedly engaged in different sports such as Cricket, Football and Basket Ball. The Sports Fest was organized by SUC Sports Department.
The September 2016 Batch of IATA Foundation in Travel and Tourism have successfully completed the course and received their IATA certification. SUC Dean, Dr. Amitabh Upadhya and SUC Registrar and Academic Support Services Head, Ms. Sunita Marwaha awarded the certificates to the students. Congratulations, students!
